National Public Radio (NPR) has egg on its face after Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Sonia Sotomayor issued a public rebuke against the taxpayer-funded propaganda mill for publishing fake news.
The NPR report was issued on Tuesday claiming that there was a rift between Sotomayor, a liberal justice, and Gorsuch, a conservative justice, over Gorsuch’s refusal to wear a mask while serving on the bench. This claim, according to the justices, is abjectly false.
“Reporting that Justice Sotomayor asked Justice Gorsuch to wear a mask surprised us. It is false. While we may sometimes disagree about the law, we are warm colleagues and friends,” they said in a joint statement.
